Orchestral Backtrack playback linkage to sheet music
#1
Dear MobileSheets

I am relatively new to MobileSheets, but loving it. I find it the best of all the similarly leading software out there.  I looked through the manual to see if the following scenario is possible, but could not find anything, could you please advise if its possible as a future addition perhaps?

I purchased orchestral sheet music, for a Piano/Orchestra classical concerto. I used this to create a "backing track" of the orchestra, where the Piano is the solo and live instrument. There are some sections where the Piano plays on its own, which makes it tricky for the Piano to keep the proper tempo so that the orchestral backtrack then falls in again at the right time.

Since the mp3 backtrack is already linked to the pdf score, is it possible to create some sort of setup where the user can link certain measures/locations on the pdf to specific audio timestamps in the audio file, which then during performance mode as an example, shows playback progress on each of these solo measures, so the soloist can ensure they are keeping the right tempo while soloing? Or where the user can add lines or some sort of symbol onto the pdf that appears/disappears during playback/performance mode at specific times IF the mp3 is playing? Something similar to a playback line like can be seen during playback in applications like Musescore/Sibelius?

Since this will be used during live performances, audio/metronome clicks of the tempo is not feasible.

Any advise or thoughts/suggestions on this would also be welcomed, or if MobileSheets is already able to do something similar, please advise on this as well?

Hoping to hear from you soon.

Kind Regards

1) You can show the metronom (visual only), already.

2) You can use a pedal to start/stop a certain audio file, or start the next audio.

Of course, some preparation for your indivdual performance has to be done.
