why not lower the volume of your transition music some dB with a 3rd party app (audacity/mp3gain/or whatelse....).
This will work with standard and advanced audio player........
e.k.
E.K.
I did create new versions of them like 12db down which was kind of too low...so I did increase the track volume in MS risking the normal songs being left loud when they started (problem reported above).
BUT - since I was noticing the cracks and pops from the advanced player, I decided to turn it off and use the basic player.
What I found was that the "automatically play next track" actually WORKS with the basic player AS LONG AS THERE ARE NOT 2+ SONGS ON ANY ONE PDF.
So, actually, I think the basic player not only played without cracks and pops, the volume changes on the individual audio files also seemed to work flawlessly (since they weren't in the same pdf apparently - - for no known reason).
So setlist looks like - Track, Transition Track, repeat...
The only ill effect is that the setlists are twice as long now and I need to page past empty tracks.
Not too bad, all in all.
What has also improved is that since I turned off the "change track when song changes" - there's no danger of accidentally turning the page too soon stopping the music!
I'll run like this, but I do wish there was an overall feature for it.
Thanks, all
