iPad Battery Drain when MS is in Background?
#1
Lately, I've observed that my iPad battery drains more quickly when I do not kill the MobileSheets app after using it. It's most apparent if I leave my iPad alone overnight. Without MobileSheets loaded in the background, the battery % level hardly ticks down. Not so if I have MobileSheets loaded. A few days ago, I was surprised to find one of my iPads fully drained - that almost never happened before.

In a couple of the situations that I made these observations, the iOS battery settings panel pointed to MobileSheets as the primary consumer, but I run the app a lot anyway which would make it rise to the top regardless. These are hardly scientifically controlled tests.

I know that there are several MobileSheets settings that affect battery performance. Is there a comprehensive list of these available that I can check out? Do any of these options matter when the app is only in the background?

This is only a suspicion at the moment. I'm curious to know if any other users have observed the same. I wish I had the tools and expertise to provide more concrete data here. Apologies in advance if this is a false alarm.
