I'm sure Mike could do this. But iMHO that's far out of the scope a sheet reader should do. Recording functions belong to decicated audio recorders. And there are so many (even free ones) you can use on your device (which you can even start with a smartbutton from MSP if you want) and so easy to add the recording as playable audio to MSP after the recording that I don't think this very specific user case justifies an addition as option or feature to MSP.

I disagree 200% with this. I play in many different bands, and nothing for me is as time-saving as the ability to record the band during rehersals directly in the score app. There's always so much more in the music than what is written or what you write down yourself. And being able to just open a score later on and having the recordings of our sessions right under my finger is invaluable. I've been using forscore for years and still spend very large amounts of my dayq on it. But I'm getting tired of it becoming less and less reliable and missing many vital features. So I would love to switch to MobileSheets. Unfortunately, without an audio record option, for me it's just a no go.
